The Latest, Greatest...

It's certainly been a good while since my last post, and much has happened in that time. I've found over the last several months that I've gotten a bent towards politics. Fair warning, should I got into a political rant, they tend to be nearer the uber-conservative end of the spectrum rather than near the center. Also, I tend to take more of a hard line, and have a harder time with compromises--especially if the compromise strikes me as ridiculous in anyway or compromises an issue that I see as one that ought not be compromised. There. Consider yourself warned. Oh! and since my last post, I did end up getting that job. For the most part, it's a good job. I think my only gripe is kind of two-fold. Because I'm customer service, I generally get a good deal of butt chewings, whether or not I deserve them. The other part of that is I don't get paid quite as much as I'd like. Two fairly small gripes that can kind of play off each other. Oh well.

I love most of the people with whom I work. They make the job much less frustrating that it would otherwise be. Not to mention, many of these folks are fun/funny in their own right. I especially like the folks in my own section/department. Fridays are always nice at the office. I can wear casual clothing, and we can drink at 4. Generally a nice thing--especially if it ever happens to be one of 'those' weeks. At this point, the job goes well. We keep rather busy. With all the stuff that keeps on getting piled onto us, we seldom have want for something to do. I think this shall do for now.
